Welcome to the Photo Blog of Geir Ertzgaard, aka. The White Zulu.
Why this unlikely name of a photo blog? My background is being a trønder in a large universe. I have lived in thirty houses in Norway and in Africa, I have travelled to almost fifty countries, and spent years in Africa. My interests and sensibility are born of this background, and like unlikely hero says: The world is my home, the color of my skin doesn’t matter. What matters is that there is skin that feels.
The subjects of this site is like my sensibilities born of my background and interests. Most images in this blog are from my travels to Africa and Southeast Asia, while I reside on the Southwest coast of Norway in Stavanger, Rogaland. This explains The White Zulu – The World and the West Coast.
