The Red of the Earth

What strikes you when you step on Zambian soil, is the red color of the Earth. It is even more striking when the light is right, in the early morning like this image, or in the hour before sunset. And of course, a little photoshopping does help. I was the privileged guest of the house and spent two nights in the little cottage to the left.

    Intens rødfarge, ja :-) Det tror jeg er det aller første inntrykket jeg har fra Afrika. Temmelig fascinerende for en pjokk som bare forbandt jord med skittenbrunt.
